Taking care of the future of our youth – Today!

This is the mission of the Mata Sahib Kaur Sikh Academy.

With this in mind, the Sikh Academy is dedicated to providing the youth with the resources required to learn about the Sikh religion we intend to propagate and instill the positive values that are taught in Sikhi.

In order to do this effectively, it is important to understand the concerns of the youth – and provide for them in a manner that they can relate to.

At the Sikh Academy, there is the opportunity to learn about Sikhi and have fun at the same time.
Many youth complain that when they attend Gurdwara services but do not understand what is being said.
Language barriers are a major barrier today for the youth.

At the Sikh Academy discourses are given in English and explained further by educated and literate people who have a passion for Sikhi and want to help our future generation.

We live in an age where drug abuse, alcoholism, and needless violence and crime are on the rise in society.

By teaching children about their rich Sikh heritage and history; we hope to help them to grow and become moral and upstanding citizens who can contribute to society in a positive manner.
